I had a night out at the club last night, even though I got intoxicated I still had some positives from the experience……

Here’s why:

1. I drank super low carb beer instead of my normal heavy beer.

2. I drank scotch & soda water instead of sugar filled pre-mix cans.

3. I “skipped” the traditional visit to McDonalds and ate some healthy nuts and fruit instead.

4. I drank HEAPS of water whilst drinking and afterwards, the keep hydrated, and guess what…….no headache today!

So even after a night on the alcohol, my frame of mind is still SUPER POSITIVE. I made the best choices I could and feel better for it today.

My first official weight in is in 2 days on Tuesday, I can’t wait because I KNOW I have lost some weight, I can feel it.

How much? We will see on Tuesday!

But not so much excercise yet, don’t want to pressure my self toooo much, tacking one step at a time. I have been taking a secret ingredient since I started last Saturday ( not saying what it is yet! ) and BOY do I have a BOOST in energy……….

2 things have happened, first is I used to sleep 12 – 14 hours per day I was always exhausted. After 3 days I am now sleeping a normal 7 to 8 hours a day. So I have gained at least 4 hours per day of my life back. Second thing and this is a bit gross, but on Wednesday I passed a motion and I think 2 years of crap was in there. Serious, it was amazing, never had that before. I think my body is starting to work.

I FEEL I have already lost some weight, but I will wait until Tuesday 16th Feb for my official weekly weight check at my local Chemist/Drugstore. They have these really cool expensive scales which are 100% accurate, and they record my weekly weight and measurements officialy on file.

Talk soon, I will make some more video’s when I get some time this week I hope.

That’s 18 years, a fair whack of my life. As at the start of my programme on 6th February 2010, I am 127.4KG.
I have fluctuated between an average of 115KG and 130KG for most of that 18 years, only dipping below 115KG
a few short times.

So what has changed? Why now?

Well, I believe at some stage in life you just “get it”. Some get it at 25, or 30, or 35, or even 55. My time is now.
Maybe turning 40 did have an effect on me. You realise, “Hey I’m probably about halfway through my life” and you
kinda start thinking about hanging around long enough to  see your kids grow up and make a life for themselves.

I also want to come out of retirement and play some sports I used to when I was in my teens and twenties.
And I want to look good for my lovely partner Sarah (in the pic).
And I want to fit into all these designer clothes I have bought over the years that are still new sitting on the shelf.
But most of all, I want some self confidence back in how I look, not be embarrassed each time I go to the shop.

Well this is what happens my friends when you mix that with a little
too much food and relaxation, a BLOODY BIG BEER GUT!
This photo SHOCKED me into action and I never want to see it again.

But I just wanted to be 100% transparent and show my followers all LOL!
Although some may say love handles are good for some things, I DON”T WANT THEM.
Starting today the excess 37.4KG HAS TO GO, can you give me some encouragement?
